| The day of the week replaces the 1st day of the month. For example, the letter 1 becomes the letter M, for Monday. The month is found by simply looking for the altered number between 1 and 12. For example, June is the sixth month of the year, so we transformed the number 6, splicing it in half, as we are now mid-way through the year. Each month has unique typographic characteristics that questions its representational convention. [a key is provided as shown] The year is in light italic. | ||||||
